East Runs, Runs, Runs Past Edison

Two Orientals over 100 yds on ground in 38-20 win
Maliek Marshall rushed for 113 yards and Darius Walker added 101 as the Orientals came from behind to beat Edison 38-20 on Colfax Street Saturday afternoon.

Vernon Harmon had two short TD runs and Walker found the end zone once as well.

East QB Justin Noye completed five passes for 101 yards and a touchdown.

Edison led 20-16 at the half, but East opened the second half with a long kick return. Less than two minutes into the third, Noye had snuck his way in for a go ahead TD. The score was set up by a 25 yard run where Noye nearly scored, but was ruled out of bounds at the five yard line.

East added two more TDs in the fourth quarter to put the game away. The Orientals are now 3-1. Edison falls to 0-4, but has pushed two of the best teams in RCAC (McQuaid, East) the last two weeks.
