Eastridge Dedicates New Court With Win

Walker scores 22 to lead Lancers
Tyshaun Walker scored 22 points to lead Eastridge over School of the Arts 76-46 in the Lancers home opener Friday night. The game was also the second half of the Eastridge Tournament.

In between games, the court was re-named in honor of Al Masino. He was a star player for East High in the 1940's and then went on to play in NBA for two teams, including the Rochester Royals.

Masino came back to town to coach the Lancers and led them to a sectional title in 1964.

Members of Masino's family were on hand for the unveiling of the banner that will hang in the gym.

Eastridge will play University Prep in the tournament championship Saturday.
