FORECAST: MUGGY, MAINLY DRY SUNDAY

A lot of moisture hanging around will keep the summery humid feel, but Sunday will feature more "mainly dry" weather.

AUGUST PRECIPITATION:  2.70"

SUNDAY SUNRISE:  6:35 AM

SUNDAY SUNSET:  7:45 PM

Our weather will continue to have a very humid feel to it until a cold front sweeps through on Monday. Sunday looks to be another mainly dry day, but moisture surging in ahead of that cold front may set off a shower or thundershower later on in the day, especially south and east through the Finger Lakes region. Otherwise it'll be a relative nice day with morning fog giving way to in and out sun and highs in the lower 80s. Some showers and storms should pop Sunday night ahead of that front with a lot of moisture in the atmosphere. The front slowly works through WNY on Monday, bringing with it scattered showers and some storms, as well. There is still the risk that a few of these storms may drop some heavy rain or gusty winds. Following that, cooler air filters in on Tuesday on a cool northwesterly breeze, and we may see a few more showers pop here and there. Wednesday looks nice, although windy ahead of our next cold front set to move through Wednesday night/early Thursday morning. That one could really pack a punch with highs only in the lower to mid 60s on Thursday, and upper 40s for lows on Friday morning!

SUNDAY:  In and out sun and humid. Slight chance of a few late day showers/rumbles, especially through the Finger Lakes.

HIGH:  83

MONDAY:  Breezy with scattered showers and thunder, ending through the afternoon.

HIGH:  81

TUESDAY:  Partly sunny, breezy and cooler with a few showers popping.

HIGH:  74
