MONDAY SUNRISE: 6:36 AM
MONDAY SUNSET: 7:43 PM
Summery, warm and humid air will continue to stick around on this Labor Day, but a few scattered showers and storms should come through many parts of the area during the late morning and/or afternoon as a strong cold front pushed in and through this afternoon. Any storm that develops today could become strong with gusty winds, hail and heavy rains, so we'll keep you updated. Once the front clears the area out to the east late this afternoon, any showers/storms will taper off, and cooler, drier air will blow in through Tuesday. Highs on Tuesday will only reach to around 70 with a gusty, cool breeze, lots of clouds and a few spotty showers. Yes, fall will be in the air for sure Tuesday as we unofficially begin the fall season. How appropriate! High pressure will build in Tuesday night into Wednesday, with dry, sunny and beautiful weather, followed by another cold front late Wednesday night/early Thursday, dropping our temperatures into the 60s for Thursday with a lake shower or two possible. Another warm up will follow for Friday and especially Saturday, stay tuned for updates.
TODAY: A few scattered showers and storms likely developing. A couple of which could turn a little nasty with gusty winds and hail.
TONIGHT: Partly cloudy, breezy and turning cooler and less humid. Ahhh!!!
TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy, breezy and much cooler with a few showers around. Hello fall!
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, nice and turning milder.
