GRE Business Report: November 11th

A look at the top business headlines.
A new list is out on jobs that have had the biggest pay raises in the past 30 years.

Many of the professions with some of the largest jumps in pay are in the medical field, including doctors, pharmacists and registered nurses. The median wage for a doctor in 1983 was about $26,000. In 2012, it was about $98,000. Lawyers and members of the clergy also saw pay jumps.

Chrysler is recalling more than one million Dodge trucks. The models include the Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 trucks from model years 2003 to 2008, and some from 2008 to 2012.  Chrysler say it was aware of seven accidents and two injuries associated with a steering system problem. Truck owners will be notified of the recall by mail next month with instructions for making free repair appointments.

If you are lucky enough to score tickets to the Superbowl, expect some free stuff to help keep you warm. Fans attending football's biggest game outside in February at MetLife Stadium in northern New Jersey will be getting gift bags that include a seat cushion, lip balm, a pack of tissues and hand warmers.
