Cadets spoil R-H's unveiling of new gym
It took 15 years of planning and work to finally get the Rush-Henrietta gymnasium completed. Once it was finsihed, the Royal Comets lost their first game on their new floor 68-64 to Hilton.

The Cadets scored the first points on the new floor when Reide Metzger hit a turnaround layup in the paint for two points. Metzger finished with 16 points and 10 reboudns for Hilton (1-0). His teammate Mike Ross had a team-high 17 points.

Juwan Beale almost led an R-H comeback. Beale had a team-high 17 points for the Comets (0-2).
