It is a big day for gaming fans as the highly-anticipated Xbox One hit store shelves.
It is a big day for gaming fans as the highly-anticipated Xbox One hit store shelves.

About 100 gamers lined up at the Best Buy in Henrietta. The Xbox One comes just a week after Sony launched its Playstation 4. The new console brings game, live TV, Skype, music and more to one device. Most say staying up and waiting in line is all part of the fun.

"It makes for a good story. I'm actually a high school teacher so I tell them I am going to be up all night and then go try to teach them," Christopher Bateman said.

"It's a lot more fun to be one of the first people to get and be able to talk about it before everyone else is getting it," Dan Greer said.

The Xbox One is on sale for $499.
