A Canandaigua man is facing a slew of charges after police say he threatened to a kill a person twice within two days.

A Canandaigua man is facing a slew of charges after police say he threatened to a kill a person twice within two days.

On Tuesday, 37-year-old Jonathon Keeling allegedly held a woman on the ground and threatened to kill her while holding a knife to her throat. Then on Thursday, police say Keeling held a sledge hammer against the woman's head.

She escaped and locked herself in a bedroom before calling 911.  Police say the woman suffered minor injuries from the two domestic incidents.

Keeling was taken to Ontario County Jail on $2,500 bail.
