A man missing from Greece since Wednesday may have been located in the Washington D.C. area.

Nicholas Simmons, 20, was last seen leaving his home on Cider Creek Lane on Wednesday, but his family believe a photograph that ran in USA Today in Sunday's Democrat and Chronicle is him. The photograph ran with a story about the arctic blast that is sweeping across the country with a photo identifying a homeless man as "Nick," wrapped in a blanket near the U.S. Capitol.

The image was taken by AP photographer Jacquelyn Martin.

Greece Police contacted Washington DC Metro Police who then located Simmons in the vicinity of 6th Street NW and Constitution Ave NW, Washington DC. Simmons was taken to George Washington University Hospital as a precaution.

"Nick is alive, but obviously not well," Michelle's mother and family said in a Facebook post earlier Sunday. "His family will get him home, loved and cared for and healthy again. I am beyond able to put into words how I am feeling.
