Lady Parts Theatre Company will present "Exit, Pursued by a Bear" beginning Thursday, November 14 at the Multi-Use Community Cultural Center in Rochester.

Lady Parts Theatre Company founders Erin-Kate Howard and Marcy Savastano discussed the new theatre company and its first production Wednesday on News 8 at Noon.  Savastano said Lady Parts was founded to address what she felt was missing in the local theatre scene and to created more female centered theatre.  The logo incorporates the brain and heart, what she described as the two most important lady parts.

"Exit, Pursued by a Bear" has been described as a Southern "revenge comedy" and Howard said it was selected after careful consideration.  "Exit" addresses the serious topic of domestic violence through a comedic lense.

Performances of "Exit, Pursued by a Bear" will be held at the Multi-Use Community Cultural Center at 142 Atlantic Avenue in Rochester Thursday through Sunday.  Show times are as follows:

Thursday, November 14 at 8 p.m.
Friday, November 15 at 8 p.m.
Saturday, November 16 at 8 p.m.
Sunday, November 17 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $15 adults/$10 seniors (age 60 and over).  There is no fee for students.
