The stories making headlines across the state.
The remains discovered washed up along the East River in Queens last week are now a confirmed match for missing teen Avonte Oquendo. He suffered from a severe form of autism and was unable to communicate verbally.

If you were trying to fly out of New York's LaGuardia Airport Tuesday, you were out of luck. The winter wallop kept many planes grounded. In fact, there were no flights out of LaGuardia after 4 p.m. According to flightaware.com, over 3,000 flights at airports across the country were canceled by Tuesday's snowstorms.
