Opponents of New York's proposed expansion of casinos found a unique way to send their message. 

Members of the Institute for American Values took a sledgehammer to several slot machines outside the capitol Tuesday. In November, voters will decide whether the state can add up to seven non-Indian casinos. The state has said the casinos will bring in much-needed revenue and jobs. But opponents say casinos increase gambling addictions and exploit poor residents without fulfilling promises of jobs or school aid. The vote takes places November 5th.
