Mayor Lovely Warren has had a tumultuous first two weeks in office. The mayor's security detail has dominated the headlines.
Nazareth College political science professor Timothy Kneeland said many politicians make mistakes when they first get into office.
"The question will be how she responds to this and what she learns from this experience. The default mode may be to circle the wagons maybe have some of her surrogates protect her and call out the media who are asking tough questions," Kneeland said. "But politicans are public figures. They're not private anymore. In fact even the courts have even ruled that's the case. So this is part of the learning curve."
