Progress In Bills Talks With Stevie

Johnson's agent says meeting today with Bills was "very productive"
The Bills routinely meet with dozens of agents during the scouting combine in Indianapolis. That's why GM Buddy Nix called Friday's meeting with the agent for wide receiver Stevie Johnson "another step in the process".

A step that may have brought the side significantly closer together.

C.J. LaBoy told the Buffalo News his conversation with the Bills was "very productive." LaBoy added, "I'm very optimistic. I look forward to continue talking."

Johnson is scheduled to be a free agent March 13th. Both sides have expressed interest in Johnson remaining in Buffalo.

LaBoy met with Jim Overdorf, Bills senior vice president of football administration.
