The Rochester Gay Men's Chorus will perform its annual holiday concert Friday and Saturday at the Hochstein Performance Hall.

Rochester Gay Men's Chorus member Ted Smith discussed the show Wednesday on News  8 at Sunrise.

The title of the holiday concert is called "Come Wassail Away" and is loosely based upon the idea of a Renaissance Madrigal feast, intertwining comedy and music.

Songs will include "Silent Night" and "Auld Lang Syne" as well as "All I Want for Christmas is You" and "Believe" from the Polar Express.  Original holiday skits will be interwoven throughout the performance as well.

For the third year in a row, the Rochester Gay Men's Chorus is asking for those attending the show to bring an unwrapped toy, to be dispersed to the children of homeless families.

Showtimes on Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14 are 8:00 p.m.
