RPD Investigate 3 Separate City Shootings

Police are investigating three separate city shootings; one resulting in serious injuries.
Police are investigating three separate city shootings Friday night.

A 20-year-old Rochester man sustained serious injuries after being shot in the upper torso around 11:45 p.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed the incident resulted from a fight which ultimately lead to the victim's injuries.

The victim was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by ambulance. Police have stated his injuries may be life-threatening.

Two other shooting took place earlier Friday evening in seperate parts of the city.

The first shooting happened around 8:35 p.m. on Joseph Avenue for the report of another man whom had been shot in the upper torso.

The 27-year-old victim sustained non life-threatening injuries and was taken to Strong Memorial.

The investigation is on-going but police was lead to a residence on Garson Avenue for possible involvement.

The third incident took place on  Masseth Street around 9:50 p.m. when officers responded to the report of another man whom was shot.

The victim, 27, was shot in the lower torso and was taken to Strong Memorial by private vehicle.

The injuries sustained are considered life-threatening.

No suspects are in custody at this time for all three circumstances.
