RPD: Witnesses Need To Come Forward To Solve Homicide Case

After four years police say they have strong leads on who may be responsible for killing a 12 year old Rochester girl.
Camry McKnight was 12 years old when she was shot in the face on Hudson Avenue in 2009.  She died from her injuries a day after the shooting.

McKnight was one of three teens shot that night.

Dyquone Gamble, then 13, was shot in the thigh.  Tyshan Riggins, then 15, was shot in the back.

Police say the teens were shot by a person on a bike after an argument.

A Rochester Police Detective told News 8 the department has very strong leads but needs witnesses to come forward.  He says it was a warm night, and there were a lot of people outside at the time of the shooting.

The detective says witnesses need to come forward to help solve the case.

If you have any information about the shooting you're asked to contact Rochester Police.
