Study: Older Americans Watch More, Like TV Less

<BR>That's not an indictment of programming quality, just an observation made by researchers at the University of California, San Diego.

Older people watch more TV but enjoy it less.

They studied the hobbies and habits of 4,000 Americans ages 15 to 98. TV blew away all other leisure-time activities, including socializing and reading.

Researchers found that older people weren't able to use their television time as a way to de-stress, unlike younger viewers.
