A Rochester man on trial for a February murder has been found guilty by a jury.

Marcellus Timmons, 23, was convicted of second degree murder in the death of 52-year-old Todd Davidson on Tacoma Street. Prosecutors say Timmons stabbed Davidson in the neck with a screwdriver and strangled him. During trial, it was revealed that Timmons met with Davidson to have sex. Prosecutors say Timmons stole two TVs from the residence to make it look like a robbery.

Timmons will be sentenced on November 4th. He faces 25 years to life in prison.
