Why ROC: Kodak Alaris

Kodak Alaris Chief Growth Officer and Vice President for Personalized Imaging discussed the company's launch and prospects for growth Wednesday in our Why ROC interview.
Kodak Alaris Chief Growth Officer and Vice President for Personalized Imaging Darren Johnson discussed the company's launch and prospects for growth Wednesday in our Why ROC interview.

Johnson said Kodak Alaris, created through the acquisition of Kodak's Personalized Imaging and Document Imaging businesses, preserves the heritage and legacy of the Kodak brand, while embodying greater speed and agility to meet market needs and changes.

Kodak Alaris, which has a perpetual license to use the Kodak brand, is focused on strategic, ongoing investments for these businesses to ensure long-term growth and success.  The Personalized Imaging business consists of Retail Systems Solutions, Paper & Output Systems, Film Capture, and Event Imaging Solutions.

As people continue to seek ways to capture their digital images, Johnson envisions innovation and growth for Kodak Alaris.  Although the company is owned by the Kodak Pension Plan of the United Kingdom, it remains headquartered in Rochester.  Johnson said the intellectual base, infrastructure and resources for research and development make Rochester the right place Kodak Alaris to grow and prosper.
